THIRD MCLAREN 570S GT4 JOINS OUR FLEET
We've proudly added a third 570S GT4 to our Mclaren fleet, joining the two we already have, plus our 720S GT3. The new car, which recently debuted at our new West Coast facility in Vista, California, features our classic livery design that's been updated to our 2020 look, and rendered in white. Watch for it on track in the very near future.

Virginia International Raceway once again delivered unsettled weather and unexpected results for both our WeatherTech Sprint Championship McLaren 720S GT3 and Michelin Pilot Challenge 570S GT4.
SUPPORTING MCLAREN AT PEBBLE BEACH
We were pleased to support our manufacturer partner at this year’s Monterey Car Week and Pebble Beach. Our No. 76 Richard Mille McLaren 720S GT3 was featured at their base of operations, the McLaren Experience at Bernardus Lodge. Located adjacent to registration, our race car proudly displayed battle scars and race rubber marks earned during the Road America round of the IMSA Weathertech Sprint Championship.

Elkhart Lake, WI – Our team proved their mettle once again by doing an overnight engine change on our No. 75 McLaren 570S GT4 on Friday night. Doing this swap is not the work of a moment, and requires the use of a car lift. Thankfully, the nice folks at Throttle Stop in Elkhart Lake were kind enough to loan us their shop for the evening.
HIGH HOPES FOR MCLAREN GT3 AND GT4 AT HOME TRACK
Compass Racing heads to its home race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the third round of the IMSA WeatherTech Sprint Cup championship. The Toronto-based squad looks to build on a solid start to the season at the Mid-Ohio and Detroit rounds. IMSA has given the team’s #76 McLaren 720S GT3 a positive balance of performance adjustment which the team hopes will help them in their quest for a podium. McLaren Factory Driver Paul Holton will once again be joined by Matt Plumb with sponsorship from Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Richard Mille.
THOMSON AND ANDRETTI WIN AT MOSPORT
BOWMANVILLE, ON – “I’m absolutely thrilled to take another win at our home track here at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park,” enthused Compass Racing Team Principal Karl Thomson after the first race of the SRO America GT4 SprintX round on Friday. “This marks my second pro win at Mosport (the first coming with Billy Johnson in 2007), and it always means so much to stand on the top step with our friends and family in attendance."
MCLAREN 720S GT3 DEBUTS AT MID-OHIO
The result of Compass Racing's debut of the McLaren 720S GT3 in North America at Mid-Ohio belie what was a very good opening weekend of IMSA’s WeatherTech Sprint Cup for drivers Paul Holton and Matt Plumb. Coming off a series of initial development tests at Palm Beach International Raceway, Mid-Ohio and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the team looked forward to a solid showing in the initial round.

Multiple-time Michelin Pilot Challenge Champions will contest seven-race series with new car
TORONTO, CANADA — Long-time IMSA competitors Compass Racing will add to their successful McLaren racing program with the debut of their new 720S GT3 at Mid-Ohio on May 3-5th for the first round of the WeatherTech Sprint Cup. This seven-race championship features all of the two-hour-and-forty-five minute events on the WeatherTech schedule and promises to provide thrilling competition.

Successful initial test of first McLaren GT3 in North America
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Compass Racing this week took delivery of the first 720S GT3 in North America, and one of just five made thus far. The team undertook an initial shake-down test at Palm Beach International Raceway with McLaren Factory Driver Paul Holton at the helm. Technical staff from both McLaren and Compass Racing were on hand to evaluate the car in advance of its first race in early May.

AUSTIN, TX – The debut weekend for Andretti Autosport's SRO GT4 America McLaren 570S GT4 program with Compass Racing provided a strong start to the season, with drivers Jarett Andretti and Karl Thomson taking a win in the second race of the weekend.
COMPASS RACING DRIVER KUNO WITTMER TO JOIN PAUL HOLTON AS MCLAREN AUTOMOTIVE FACTORY DRIVER
WOKING, ENGLAND -- McLaren Customer Racing continues to broaden its offering for customer teams racing globally, while further strengthening its professional driver programmes with the formation of the McLaren Young Professional category. The addition of three new Factory Drivers have also been confirmed for the 2019 season with Álvaro Parente, who recently campaigned the 720S GT3 on its competitive debut, announced alongside Canadian Kuno Wittmer and American Michael Cooper. The 2019 race programme for the McLaren Automotive Driver Development Programme drivers has also been confirmed.
COMPASS RACING SECURES HISTORIC FIRST VICTORY FOR MCLAREN AT DAYTONA
A strong performance during qualifying saw Holton secure the perfect start for the inaugural round of the MICHELIN Pilot Challenge, setting a new lap record and pole position for Compass Racing ahead of the four-hour endurance race. The result marked an eighth career GS pole, and a record fourth consecutive pole position in the class for Factory Driver and Florida-local Holton.
