ELKHART LAKE, WI – Adam Burrows and Ray Mason scored their best finish of the 2013 GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Series to date as the duo combined for a run to fifth place in Saturday’s Road America 250 for Compass360 Racing. 

Strong Honda showing sweeps podium; three C360R cars in top-ten demonstrate team's strength

(Mansfield, Ohio) -- Kyle Gimple and Ryan Eversley brought home their second podium-finish of the 2013 season at Mid-Ohio, returning their #75 Honda Performance Development Civic Si to the top of Grand-Am's Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge championship. Teammates Ray Mason and Adam Burrows (in the #76 Columbus Truck entry) and Robert Thorne and Aaron Povoledo (#77 Pixxcars.com Honda) brought their cars home seventh and eighth, respectively, notching solid results for all of the team cars at Mid-Ohio.

AUSTIN, TX -- Compass360 Racing and it's three full-season Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car drivers delivered a dominant performance at the series' season-opening round at the epic Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Questionable call by officials caps off a forgettable weekend for C360R in the deep south

(Birmingham, Alabama) -- Compass360 Racing's #75 Honda Civic Si headed into the third round of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge with a five-point lead in the Driver and Team's championship. Hot shoes Kyle Gimple and Ryan Eversley were optimistic of a good result despite the fact that the tight, twisting and traditionally low-grip circuit isn't an ideal track for the Hondas. By the end of the weekend, they'd dropped to second place, 12 points out of first, after being thrown curve balls by a combination of heavy weather during the test and practice days, and new interpretations of long-standing rules from the tower. And of the three C360R cars in attendance, they fared best of all.

(Mason City, IA) -- After a strong debut season that saw him on the World Challenge Touring Car podium an impressive six times at the helm of his #72 Compass360 Racing (C360R) Honda, it was obvious that Ryan Winchester would be back for a sophomore season with the Toronto-based team.

(Vancouver, Canada) -- Remo Ruscitti announced today that he's been signed by Compass360 Racing to drive the team's #71 Honda Civic Si in the 2013 Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car championship.

The COTA weekend kicked off with a promoter test day, which saw Burrows and Mason working together to unlock the keys to speed within the 20 corners that make up the highly technical Formula 1-grade facility. The C360R squad saw all four team entries posting practice times within a quarter of a second of each other, showing the strength and consistency of the Toronto-based team’s preparation.

(Austin, TX) -- Taking to the track at 10:00am on Saturday, March 3rd, competitors in Grand-Am's Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge became the first pro series to race at Austin's Circuit of the Americas since its debut on the Formula One calendar in the fall of 2012.

Compass360 Racing's World Challenge star tapped to replace injured David Thilenius

(Mason City, IA) -- Thanks to a strong debut season in the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car season in 2012, where he took third in the Driver's Championship and helped to deliver Honda the Manufacturer's crown, Iowa's Ryan Winchester has been engaged by his Compass360 Racing team to drive with Aaron Povoledo at the next Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge round at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

As you may have seen during the SPEED broadcast of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge season opener at Daytona last weekend, long-time C360R driver David Thilenius was involved in a nasty shunt after the infield kink during the race. Dave was taken to hospital and was released a few days later with six broken ribs and has now returned home to California where he's recovering well. As soon as he's able he plans to resume his physical training and hopes to be back in a car in April.
