2010 Street Tuner Champion Teams with Rookie-of-the-Year Hopeful in Compass360 Racing Honda

Monterey, CA -- Last Sunday Lawson Aschenbach drove the race of his life at the famed Laguna Seca road course, nestled among the sand dunes of the beautiful northern California coast. Starting from the back of the pack, and with no practice time, Aschenbach made a perfect standing start in his #71 Honda Performance Development Civic Si, and quickly dispatched competitor after competitor, making his way into the top three in only a few laps.

(Monterey, CA) -- Ryan Eversley and co-driver Simon Pagenaud knew they faced an uphill battle at Laguna Seca, despite the recent removal of a series-mandated inlet restrictor. "Laguna's a track that favours the rear-wheel-drive cars, and even with the restrictor gone, the Honda is still far from the fastest front-wheel-drive platform as the results show," explained Eversley.

EVERSLEY TAKES CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD AT WATKINS GLEN
Ryan Eversley and Keith Carroll brought their Compass360 Racing Honda Civic Si home in fifth place at Watkins Glen, after the two leading iMoto MazdaSpeed3's suffered mechanical issues and rules infractions in the closing stages of the race. The result puts Eversley atop the Grand-Am Street Tuner standings but a small margin of five points.

ASCHENBACH WINS TWO FOR TWO AT MOSPORT
Team tops podium at home track double-header; Sandberg takes third place on Sunday
(Bowmanville, ON) -- Last weekend Lawson Aschenbach hoped to maintain his World Challenge championship lead with strong performances at Compass360 Racing's home track, Mosport International Raceway. The Toronto-based team brought two Honda Civic Si's to the race course, ready to do battle with the strong Touring Car-class field, #71 for Aschenbach and the #70 for Brett Sandberg in his second start for the squad.

Hard-fought win puts team back in contention for third consecutive championship
(Danville, VA) -- This past weekend the rolling hills of picturesque Virginia International Raceway were the scene of an epic battle between two drivers at the top of their game. Although the two-and-a-half hour race was marred by a number of caution periods, the last twenty minutes featured the top Street Tuner-class cars trading places on nearly every lap, leading to a dramatic conclusion in the Continental Tire Sports Car Championship event and seeing two-time series' champions Compass360 Racing taking their first win of the season.
