IMSA CONTINENTAL TIRE RACE A WET AND WILD AFFAIR
A flash flood featuring torrential rain (which eventually red-flagged the race for nearly 45 minutes) was the highlight of a rather forgettable race at the ordinarily lovely Virginia International Raceway for C360R, with its No. 76 Ford Mustang finishing sixth at the line, and the team's No. 74 and 75 Audis finishing well down the order, a mechanical issue putting the former a few laps down, and a huge shunt finishing the day for the latter. Elkhart Lake, WI – A solid qualifying effort and great race start by Paul Holton in our No.76 Ford Mustang weren't enough to avoid a second-lap melee with a hard-charging Porsche Cayman, which ended with the Mustang on its side, next to another Porsche on it's roof in the challenging Canada Corner at Road America.
PWC: COMPASS RACING RETURNS TO GTS COMPETITION WITH AUDI TT RS
Five-time World Challenge Champion Pierre Kleinubing to Sub for Paul Holton at St. Petersburg
TORONTO, CANADA — Compass Racing's No.73 Audi TT RS will return to the Pirelli World Challenge GTS paddock for the second round of the season at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg this weekend. Pierre Kleinubing has been tapped to pilot the car, subbing in for regular driver Paul Holton, who will be attending Audi TT Cup training sessions in Germany.

MONTEREY, CA — Long-time Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge team Compass Racing today announced an expansion of its Audi racing program to include an Audi R8 LMS in IMSA’s TUDOR United SportsCar Championship GT Daytona class.
The new No. 76 car will be helmed by long-time Compass driver Ray Mason and his regular team-mate Pierre Kleinubing, with support from partners AERO Advanced Paint Technology, Spyder apparel and Audi Sport customer racing. As they have for the past five years, the team and drivers will fly the colors of their charity of choice, the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

AUSTIN, TX — The Pirelli World Challenge season opens this weekend at one of the continent's premier tracks, the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The series includes seven different classes, featuring an astonishing variety of cars including everything from wildly winged Lamborghinis to grocery-getting MINI Coopers.
Compass Racing first entered PWC for the 2011 season and quickly proved to be championship contenders, amassing an impressive string of results, including four Manufacturers’ Championships (for Honda), three Drivers’ Championships, three Team Championships, and having been voted “Crew of the Year” for the past three seasons. Team drivers have won Rookie of the Year two years in a row.

TORONTO, CA —Compass Racing will return for its fifth consecutive season in the Pirelli World Challenge in 2015, and released details of the team’s first driver signing for its expanded PWC Touring Car program. After four years in the TC class, the team will update its winning Honda Civic Si’s to fit new regulations which move the Honda platform to TCA. Emilee Tominovich has been signed to drive the team’s No.72 Children’s Tumor Foundation car.

LAS VEGAS, NV — Long-time IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge competitor Compass Racing today released details of its 2015 sportscar program, which will see the team debuting a Street Tuner-class effort with the recently-launched Audi S3.
“We’re really excited to finally announce this new program,” enthused Team Principal Karl Thomson. “It’s something (Technical Director) Ray Lee and I have been working on since March of last year, when I first sat down with the Audi folks at Sebring.”
