Audi TT RS

2012 Audi TT RS Race Car

This was the first TT RS brought into the country by Audi of America, and was purchased by long-time racer Don Istook. He used it briefly as his daily driver before turning it into a race car, and competed in the final three Pirelli World Challenge events in 2012, plus select races in 2013 and 2014.

Compass Racing purchased it in June of 2015 and undertook a comprehensive overhaul of the car, which included suspension and aerodynamic development, a new roll cage, seat, belts, etc. The car was raced by Paul Holton in the two final World Challenge events of 2015 (winning the best standing start at Sonoma), with further testing completed after the season finale. With Holton at a TT Cup event in Europe, Pierre Kleinubing raced the car in the 2016 PWC season opener at St. Petersburg, but the car suffered engine failure in the first race.We elected to concentrate on our 2016 Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge Audi S3 and Ford Mustang GT350R-C programs, leaving the TT RS to track-day duty. It has since been fitted with a fresh engine and recently completed a shake-down at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (formerly known as Mosport). The TT RS is powered by a 2.5L 5-cylinder engine with a variety of engine maps courtesy of a custom tune by 034 Motorsport, ranging from 380hp to 450hp, delivered through Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive.

The car is completely turn-key and ready to race. It would be ideal for SCCA or NASA racing and would make an exceptionally quick track-day car. It has a clean Texas title and is currently in Toronto. Shipping can be arranged anywhere in North America or worldwide.Asking $69,000 OBO, including a comprehensive spares package including:
