Miller Looks to Wrap Up Season With ST Title
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2009) - Christian Miller wasn’t sure how much he was going to run this season in the Grand-Am KONI Sports Car Challenge.
Following a solid performance in the 2008 Street Tuner (ST) class, Miller was expected to compete sparingly with Compass360 Racing, one of the top teams in the series, in a Honda Civic Si. He would start off in January’s season-opening Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona International Speedway, and go from there.

The pair finished 12th at Daytona, but jumped to the top of the point standings with a victory in March’s Fan Appreciation Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The pair also won at New Jersey Motorsports Park, and Miller has never looked back.

C360R Alumni Dominates Time Attack in Acura NSX
Compass360 Racing alumni Billy Johnson has been on a tear lately. Not only did he take his first Grand-Am KONI Grand Sport win in Utah two weeks ago, he dominated the field and placed first overall in last weekend’s Redline Time Attack at Spring Mountain Raceway in Pahrump Nevada, piloting his FX Motorsports NSX to victory in the Dsport Unlimited RWD class while securing the overall victory as well, unofficially turning the fasted time ever at Pahrump in a production based car.
Nice to see Billy bring a Honda back on the top step again. Well done!

Before that, though, the series heads west to Utah for our penultimate event at the beautiful Miller Motorsports Park just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Long-time supporters of our race team, Burry Signs offers comprehensive signage options to the clients, who include the Home Depot, McDonalds and many others. Their customer-focus and attention to detail has been appreciated by our team, who is featured in the “Vehicles” section of the new website. Thanks especially to Carmen, who often pulls a rabbit out of her hat for us when we need some last-minute decals!
