RIVERSIDE, CA—Compass360 Racing and K&N Filters today released details of their partnership for the 2008 racing season. K&N, a leading provider of race and street filter systems, will join Honda of America and Skunk2 as team partners this year.

“We were looking for a partner that understood our market,” explained James Yim, Business Manager at K&N. “Karl Thomson and the guys at Compass360 are in tune with the Street Tuner marketplace, and have competed successfully in Grand-Am for many seasons. They are an ideal fit for us.”

Camp Motorsport today announced the return of Kevin York as Chief Instructor for the 2008 season. York, co-driver of Compass360’s #75 Acura TSX, held the same position at the camp during its inaugural year in 2007. Camp Motorsport—a race car driving sports specialty summer camp for kids ages 10-16 - is a unique fusion of racing school, life-skills development, and traditional summer camp.

Compass360’s Managing Partner, Karl Thomson, has been asked to contribute to Grand-Am’s new media-rich website. His weekly (or possibly bi-weekly) missives will be published as part of the sanctioning body’s push to bring fans close to the series, the teams, the drivers and the personalities that fill the paddock.
