YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME: THE JOYS OF RACING

We headed to Thermal for the final round of SRO's GT4 America Winter Series with high hopes. We'd podiumed in the first round in December and felt that we'd do well for the final.

Team Principal Karl Thomson was at the helm for the two-race event. Qualifying didn't go as planned and he started seventh for the first race. Race craft counts, though, and he made his way up to fourth quickly, before a mid-race caution bunched up the field. On the restart a back-marker Ferrari found itself in the fray, the result being minor contact which put Thomson to the back of the field.

He made his way back to fourth by the checkered flag, with an eye on Sunday's race.

Unforatunely, the racing gods were less forgiving, with the leader being spun in the first corner, and Thomson having no where to go as the field avoided the spinner.

The car has been returned to our west coast base in Vista, CA, in advance of the full seasons of competition we have scheduled in both IMSA's WeatherTech Spint Cup Championship and SRO's GT4 America. We're excited to start the season with our GT3 and GT4 McLarens!
