SUPPORTING MCLAREN AT PEBBLE BEACH

We were pleased to support our manufacturer partner at this year’s Monterey Car Week and Pebble Beach. Our No. 76 Richard Mille McLaren 720S GT3 was featured at their base of operations, the McLaren Experience at Bernardus Lodge. Located adjacent to registration, our race car proudly displayed battle scars and race rubber marks earned during the Road America round of the IMSA Weathertech Sprint Championship.

From Road America, the car was transported to a satellite shop in Indianapolis where regular post-race maintenance was completed before continuing on to Monterey, California. It spent five days on display before being loaded up and shipped to the next race at Virginia International Raceway.

Many guests noted that seeing the race car – which is the only 720S GT3 in North America – was the highlight of their event. Managing Director Jill Beck and Team Principal Karl Thomson were on hand to discuss the car, the extensive development we’ve undertaken since receiving the car in March, and the progress of our IMSA season with drivers Paul Holton and Matt Plumb. “Whilst our car was something special for McLaren’s guests to see and talk about, the highlight for me was chatting with McLaren Design Director Rob Melville (above, right with Karl and Jill) about how the race car differs from the street 720S, and the evolution of our livery,” noted Beck, who created the race car design. “We had a wonderful opportunity to share our team’s story and love of sportscar racing with so many McLaren owners, many of whom we hope to see at upcoming races."Jill also represented our sponsor and commercial partnersRichard Mille, proudly wearing her bespoke timepiece. Many of the folks attending McLaren's Pebble Beach events are RM owners, including those who ordered the incredible watch what was made available to those who bought a Senna.
