SLIME SIGNS ON WITH ANDREW NOVICH FOR GRAND-AM CAMPAIGN

Compass360 Racing Driver to fly new livery at Laguna Seca and Lime Rock Park

(San Luis Obispo, CA) -- Andrew Novich's #74 Honda Civic Si will hit the track in a decidedly different look at the next Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race, at the iconic Laguna Seca raceway in Monterey, California on September 8th, 2012. The traditional Compass360 Racing orange will be replaced by the bright green of Slime, the worldwide leader in tire care.

Novich, from nearby Novato, CA, will use his home track event to welcome his new sponsor, maker of a wide range of tire repair products. "It's really exciting to have Slime on board with us for the rest of the season," said Novich. "They do a lot of really unique and interesting activities in their marketing, and I'm glad to have them move into the world of sports car racing with me."

In addition to primary sponsorship on the Street Tuner-class #74 Honda that Novich shares with co-driver Adam Burrows, Slime will be doing product sampling at the Compass360 transporter, entertain corporate guests, and have some unique give-aways for the fans during the Fan Walk immediately prior to the race. "Chris Auerbach and the folks at Slime have been really great to work with," explained Novich. "They make an amazing product that we can use our motorsports program to market aggressively."

Slime's General Manager, Chris Auerbach was similarly enthusiastic. "Andrew's really impressed us with his performances on track and in front of the SPEED cameras. He's led a couple of races this year, stood on the podium and we think he's the kind of driver that will do right by Slime."

As the worldwide leader in tire care, Slime offers a complete line of products, ranging from liquid tire sealant, to a full line of auto accessories and inflators. Slime offers a category solution while giving customers the tools they need to care for their tires, save money, and stay safe.
