LUTZ AND EVERSLEY THIRD AT MID-OHIO

Zach Lutz and Ryan Eversley brought their #75 Compass360 Racing Honda Civic Si home third at Mid-Ohio, the duo's fifth straight podium of 2010. The finish puts them in a strong third place in the championship, close behind their team-mates David Thilenius and Lawson Aschenbach in the #74 Honda, who drop to second in the standings after contact with another car required a pit stop and dropped them to 10th place.

2009 Champion Christian Miller returned to the paddock for the first time this year, and drove a great first stint for Benoit Theetge, who looked set for a top-five result before cooling issues sidelined the #76 in the closing stages of the race. Alex Kirby, starting in the #77 car, had an exciting first lap, ending up in the gravel trap at Thunder Alley. Once rescued he and Greg Liefooghe drove a solid race and finished in 23rd position, two laps down.

As usual, a tight battle between team mates. There's only one team order: don't hit each other!

Alex Kirby and Greg Liefooghe drove a great race in #77 after being excavated from a gravel trap in the early going.

Ivan makes quick work of replacing the broken rim on #74. Great pit work by the crew limited the damage to the points haul for that car, which finished 10th. Still, it dropped Thilenius and Aschenbach to second place, just one point away from the leaders. Should make for an interesting three race close-out to the season...

Fifth podium in a row for Zach Lutz and Ryan Eversley. We're pretty sure that's a record.
