Compass Racing duo deliver top-five result in GTS-X season-opener with JT Coupal solid in TCR
AUSTIN, TX – Ray Mason and Paul Holton paired to deliver Compass Racing its first top-five result in Pirelli World Challenge Sprint-X competition at the season-opening event at the majestic Circuit of the Americas, just outside Austin, Texas. They piloted the team’s No. 78 McLaren Toronto 570S GT4 in the GTS class, whilst JT Coupal launched his TCR campaign in the No. 77 Bilstein Audi RS 3 LMS.
Compass Racing TCR Audis all score top-five finishes with GS McLaren a solid seventh.
SEBRING, FL — The second round of IMSA’s Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge, at Sebring International Raceway, proved to be a dramatic and unpredictable race. This was certainly true of the battle for TCR, especially within the three-car Compass Racing squad which saw each of its Audi RS 3 LMS cars in the lead at various points throughout the two-hour event.

Mason is no stranger to the squad, having competed for them in both World Challenge and IMSA from 2011 to 2015.
Compass Racing pilot extends his relationship with British supercar maker
WOKING, ENGLAND – McLaren Automotive confirmed this week an expansion of the company’s Factory Driver program with the addition of three pilots for the 2018 season. Compass Racing’s Paul Holton was announced alongside Ben Barnicoat and Joe Osborne, who join the previously-confirmed professional driver Rob Bell.
Coupal will contest the new TCR class in Pirelli World Challenge driving an Audi RS3 LMS Clubsport
TORONTO, CANADA – With the 2018 Pirelli World Challenge season fast approaching, 17-year-old high school senior JT Coupal has signed with successful Canadian outfit Compass Racing and will contest the debut season of the series’ TCR class. He will be behind the wheel of the same Audi RS3 LMS Clubsport that he drove to eighth place in the PWC TC championship last season.

The Audi Sport customer racing program provides Audi Sport customers with race cars, technical support, and leadership to succeed at the professional racing level. The teams compete at races like the Rolex 24 At Daytona or at the club racing level, where enthusiasts can compete at local tracks.
